  1. Recent additions to NewZAP :

  3. REV 2.85:
  4.   Lock problem (hopefully) cleared up.

  6. REV 2.9:
  7.   The search string gadget self-activates (1.2 & later).

  13.   Filespec gadget now scrolls for long filenames.

  15.   By public demand, NewZAP is now customizable regarding all text colors
  16.   and highlighting. There are six pens used by NewZAP :

  20.     BgPen        0            Reserved
  21.     StdPen        3            Border Information
  22.     HexPen        2            Edit Window text
  23.     ModPen        1            Edit Window modifications

  26.   Use NewZAP on a backup copy of itself and Search for the following string :
  27.               "Default=[03213]"

  29.   The entire string should be visible in the ASCII window :
  30.         "PENCOLORS->03213 [Default=03213]"

  32.   Modify the numbers after the "-> to your choice of WorkBench preferences;
  33.   on a standard WorkBench screen, those colors are : Blue (0), White (1),
  34.   Black (2) and Orange (3). The pen numbers are in the order mentioned above.
  35.   Save your changes to disk, and they will be reflected the next time you
  36.   run your modified copy of NewZAP.

  38. REV 3.1:
  39.   "GOTO" gadget now has a menu shortcut; now EVERYTHING has a keyboard and
  40.   menu equivalent! This feature requires 1.2 or later KickStart.

  42. REV 3.15:
  43.   Corrected an obscure error where user could force NewZAP to attempt more
  44.   than one help requester at the same time. Distributed to recent subscribers.
  45.   Recompiled using short int's.

  47. REV 3.17:
  48.   By popular demand : "NewZAP ?" now prints a CLI-style help note.
  49.   All resource allocations now properly checked and cleaned up.
